The law which covers the use of lifts in the UK, is the Disabled Discrimination Act 1995. The final stage of the DDA 1995 came into effect on the 1st October 2004, it states:
"Service providers may
have to make permanent physical adjustments to their premises to
give disabled people access to their goods or services."
"It is
unlawful for a provider of goods, facilities or services to
discriminate against a disabled person. In refusing to provide,
or deliberately not providing, to the disabled person any
service which he provides, or is prepared to provide, to members
of the public."
All of our lifts adhere to current regulations whilst we pride ourselves on quality and reliability. This is backed by our knowledge of the required British and European standards to which our lift units are built. This means we can offer expert advice on all aspects of sales and installation.
